Proverbs 22:6 (AMP) says; “Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek Gods wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Last year the VABC student lead children’s program (now named “New Wave”) was a huge success in being able to reach so many children from our surrounding communities and build friendships with them.
This year the students have expanded on that vision by also beginning to mentor the in the area of music with plans to add on other areas of mentorship in the future. This gives children who would otherwise have no outlet for their gifts, abilities, talents or passions a platform to experiment, be challenged and grow in what God has given them, but above all with the knowledge of the one who gave them that talent or ability in the first place. Jesus Christ.
