That’s three days by Jeep! The Jeep driving is my job. Becky and our students will make their way to Bangkok and catch the overnight bus into the far north and then hire a couple of small trucks for the last leg into the jungle. We’ll be right on the border of Laos for the next couple of weeks. There will be villages to preach in, a church to build and a whole lot of mentoring around the campfire.
Can you imagine? At night it’s cool, it may rain, there’ll be strange noises, mosquito nets, and sleeping bags. And in the heart, God speaks, about His love for the world, from His perspective, the bigger picture. 35 years of jungle trips and I can’t wait because He always comes through with something new and I am amazed.
Some things can only happen in the jungle.
